BIO

Dr. Stephanie Rogus earned her M.A. and Ph.D. from the Department of Nutrition and Food Studies at New York University, and her R.D.N. and B.S. in Nutrition at the University of Texas at Austin. From 2017 through 2021, she taught and conducted research as an Assistant Professor of Human Nutrition and Dietetic Science at New Mexico State University. Prior to joining Texas A&M AgriLife in 2024, she was the Scientific Integrity Campaign Manager at the Center for Science in the Public Interest.

Dr. Rogus’s Extension work focuses on the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, nutrition assistance policies and programs, food access and security, and current topics in nutrition. Her research focuses on understanding relationships between food choice, dietary quality, and nutrition policy and programs.
