Marisol Dominguez, PH.D.

Dr. Dominguez is a Hydrologist who earned her B.S., MS, and PhD in Geological Sciences from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2017, 2021, and 2023 respectively. Through the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship during her graduate studies, she specialized in globally evaluating the impact of climate and landcover changes on water resources. Continuing her research focus, Dr. Dominguez is currently engaged at Texas A&M AgriLife, where she concentrates on identifying solutions to water scarcity issues and enhancing water management practices. Her work involves leveraging satellite observations, particularly along the US-Mexico border, to develop precise methodologies for monitoring and improving water resource allocation and usage.
