Dr. Lilian Ademu received her PhD in Public Policy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2023 and specialized in Nutrition and Health Policy Research. Her research is situated at the nexus of policy, systems, and environment because of the crucial role these components play in promoting public health and preventing diseases. Her current research examines the diet quality of emerging adults and the role the environment plays in shaping their dietary choices. She also examines dietary quality, obesity, metabolic syndrome, and risk factors for chronic diseases and recommends interventions to promote health at the population level.
